Technical Project Manager – AD Trust & M365 Migration
Location: Preston / North West / Hybrid (2–3 days per week in the office)

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a major Active Directory Trust implementation and Microsoft 365 tenant migration programme.
In this pivotal 12-month contract, you will act as the central point of coordination between technical teams, business stakeholders, third-party suppliers, and delivery partners, ensuring that complex infrastructure projects are delivered to agreed timelines, strict governance standards, and measurable business outcomes.
Lead the end-to-end delivery of the AD Trust and M365 migration programme across the North West hub and regional offices.
Manage integrated project plans, schedules, resource allocations, milestones, and complex dependencies.
Coordinate migrations across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
Oversee Active Directory Trust, identity, and authentication workstreams.
Drive project governance, comprehensive RAID management, stakeholder reporting, and executive updates.
Hold third-party suppliers and delivery partners accountable to project commitments.
Coordinate SIT, UAT, pilot migrations, cutover rehearsals, and operational go-live readiness.
Proven commercial experience delivering complex infrastructure, cloud, and Microsoft 365 transformation projects.
Strong background managing large-scale M365 tenant migrations and tenant-to-tenant methodologies.
Experience coordinating Active Directory, identity, and authentication initiatives.
Deep knowledge of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive environments.
Excellent supplier management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Familiarity with generating key deliverables including migration runbooks, cutover strategies, testing frameworks, and operational acceptance packs.
