Position Overview

• Role: Assistant Shop Manager

• Location: Wandsworth, London

• Salary: £25,213 per annum, pro rata (plus Inner London Weighting if applicable) (DOE)

• Hours: 14 hours per week (6 Months Fixed Term)

In this role, you will help run a vibrant, customer-focused high street shop that serves as a welcoming face in the community. From managing the shop floor to coordinating backend operations, no two days are the same. You will work closely with the Shop Manager to foster a brilliant shopping environment and oversee a dedicated team of volunteers through their induction, training, and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Store Operations & Experience: Partner with the Shop Manager to run a profitable, customer-focused store that delivers an exceptional shopping experience.

• Team Leadership: Oversee, induct, manage, and develop a dedicated team of retail volunteers.

• Commercial Awareness: Apply a strong grasp of financial targets, performance metrics, and proven IT skills to daily store management.

• Flexible Support: Adapt flexibly to the scheduling and operational needs of the store environment.
