The Role
As a Night Care Assistant, you will be at the heart of our home during the night hours, providing vital person-centred care that supports independence, honours choice, and ensures our residents feel safe, supported, and valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements, from nighttime comfort and reassurance to personal care.
Observe and manage resident wellbeing, documenting and reporting any changes in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs throughout the night and morning according to their care plans.
Provide essential reassurance and stimulation through comforting interactions and engagement.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date care plans in line with regulatory and legal standards.
What We Are Looking For
A motivated, positive individual with great interpersonal skills and a natural knack for communication.
The ability to work seamlessly both independently and as part of a close-knit team during night shifts.
Desirable: Previous experience working in a care home environment or a relevant Health and Social Care qualification (though full training and support are provided).
Note: Please be aware that this role is not at or above RQF Level 3 and is ineligible for sponsorship under the UK's Points-Based Immigration System.
