Staff Nurse – Ward
About this role
As a Ward Staff Nurse, you will deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients across pre- and post-operative stages, working flexible shifts including evenings and weekends. You will utilize advanced clinical equipment and facilities within a newly refurbished hospital environment, maintaining meticulous attention to patient needs and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional direct nursing care on a consultant-led ward, tailoring treatment plans to individual patient needs.
Collaborate closely with doctors, consultants, and multi-disciplinary hospital departments to maintain continuity of patient care.
Operate state-of-the-art medical technology and adhere to clinical quality standards and infection control guidelines.
Requirements
Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse.
Relevant post-registration nursing experience, ideally within an acute hospital or ward environment.
Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills with a flexible approach to shift patterns.
