Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of Supportive Bridge Limited for an organized and empathetic Rehabilitation Specialist to join their fitness team at Newcastle Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.
In this clinical rehabilitation role, you will deliver rolling 12-week rehabilitation programs incorporating exercise, emotional wellbeing support, healthy eating guidance, and goal setting. Working 18.5 hours per week across digital and in-person settings, you will empower participants to manage their recovery through 1-on-1 coaching, live-streamed and face-to-face group sessions, and self-directed activity.
As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will facilitate virtual and onsite group exercise sessions, conduct weekly 1-on-1 telephone coaching sessions, and guide participants through personalized recovery goals. You will track outcome data, monitor individual progress, adapt exercise intensities, and escalate any clinical concerns to ensure safe, effective participant rehabilitation.
Deliver live-streamed and in-person group exercise classes alongside weekly 1-on-1 coaching calls to support physical and emotional recovery.
Monitor participant progress, adapt exercise programs based on performance, and maintain accurate outcome data reporting.
Encourage self-directed rehabilitation using digital resources, goal-setting journals, and on-demand classes to support long-term condition management.
Active REPs Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification (or equivalent) with excellent IT skills and digital facilitation abilities.
Proven experience working with vulnerable adults, with a strong understanding of physical rehabilitation concepts (BSc Hons in Sports Rehabilitation preferred).
Exceptional communication, organizational, and diagnostic problem-solving skills to manage hybrid delivery schedules.
