As an Assistant Chef, you will use your passion for fresh ingredients and cooking to create varied, nutritional menus tailored to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents, helping deliver an exceptional dining experience every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use a passion for fresh food and cooking to create varied, nutritional menus aligned with resident preferences and dietary requirements.

• Put forward innovative ideas to enhance the dining experience and create a welcoming home environment.

• Train and guide the kitchen team in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals.

• Strictly adhere to COSHH, HACCP guidelines, company policies, budgets, and stock/delivery management.

• Cater for special events, seasonal activities, birthdays, and celebrations as required.

• A genuine passion for cooking with previous experience working in a fresh food kitchen.

• Relevant food hygiene certificates.

• An open-minded, innovative approach to cooking combined with a commitment to high standards.
