Advertising Rate: Competitive Agency Rates (Based on an hourly rate of £14.00 – £17.00 per hour, with bank holiday rates up to £30)

Hours: Full-time or part-time agency shifts (Flexible shift patterns: Days, Twilight, and Nights, typically 07:00 – 19:00 / 19:00 – 07:00)

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to support specialized home-care placements, partnering to find exceptional care providers for individuals with complex needs. We are currently recruiting experienced Complex Healthcare Assistants to support a gentleman in East Malling who lives with Fragile X Syndrome, learning disabilities, autism, Tourette’s syndrome, and a tracheostomy.

The client enjoys a relaxed and engaging routine—watching daytime TV (such as Lorraine Kelly and Loose Women), enjoying DVDs, and listening to music. Supporting him to engage with his favourite activities and community outings is a central and rewarding part of this role!

Key Responsibilities

• Specialist Clinical Care: Deliver expert complex support, including tracheostomy care, oral suctioning, enteral feeding, and medication administration via PEG.

• Safety & Seizure Management: Carry out safe manual handling procedures and administer emergency medication (such as buccal Midazolam for seizure management, with full training provided).

• Routine & Hobby Engagement: Support a relaxed daily routine, joining in with his love for daytime television, videos, music, and social activities.

• Care Plan Adherence: Act as a dedicated advocate, following nurse-written care plans precisely while maintaining thorough, accurate clinical documentation.

Candidate Requirements

To excel in this specialized agency placement, you will need:

• Previous experience as a Complex Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker.

• A fun, friendly, engaging, and patient disposition.

• Full Right to Work in the UK (please note: visa sponsorship cannot be offered for this placement; candidates must already be based in the UK).
