About the Role
In this key role, you will play a vital part in delivering, supporting, and continuously improving the Enterprise SharePoint service across BAE Systems UK and Rest of World (RoW). Working closely with technical leadership, business stakeholders, and internal customers, you will utilize agile and traditional delivery approaches to manage issues, drive service improvements, and ensure robust, high-quality collaboration environments.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Deliver and support Enterprise SharePoint services across BAE Systems UK and RoW.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver impactful SharePoint enhancements and solutions.
Ensure all SharePoint developments and deployments strictly align with internal governance and quality standards.
Apply appropriate delivery methodologies, including Agile and traditional project approaches.
Resolve technical issues, manage corrective actions, and drive continuous service improvement.
What We Are Looking For (Essential Skills & Qualifications):
ITIL & Application Management: Practical application management experience aligned with ITIL processes.
Platform Expertise: Extensive experience working with multiple versions of SharePoint and third-party tools (such as Nintex, K2, Sharegate, and Link Fixer).
Development Lifecycle: Clear understanding of application development and promotion across multiple environments.
Project Delivery: Solid background in supporting the delivery of IT projects and large-scale change requests.
Security Note: Due to defense and export control restrictions, all applicants must achieve at least a Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Higher levels of National Security Vetting may apply where required.
