Position: HGV 2 RORO (Roll on Roll off) Driver
Location: Transfer Station, Wallsend Rd, North Shields, NE29 7SH (Servicing HWRC & Transfer Stations across Northumberland / Alnwick region)
Salary/Rate: £16.26 per hour + Quarterly bonus scheme + Weekend shift allowances and overtime opportunities
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-time, 46 hours per week, 4-on-4-off shift pattern, 07:00 AM start)

About the Role
We are proud to partner with our client as a supportive staffing agency to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated HGV 2 RORO Driver for an immediate start. Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced driver, this vital role offers stable full-time hours on a 4-on-4-off schedule (with seasonal daily hours ranging from 10.5 in winter to 11.5 in summer), allowing you to play a key role in sustainable waste management across the Northumberland region.
Key Responsibilities
Driving & Operation: Safely drive and operate Roll on Roll off (RORO) vehicles, collecting industrial and commercial waste from various customer sites.
Service Excellence: Deliver a high standard of professional customer service while working effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.
Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all health and safety guidelines and site regulations at all times.
Independent Working: Take responsibility for loading duties and lone working when servicing HWRC and transfer station sites.

What We Are Looking For
Licence & Qualifications: A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence and a valid CPC card are essential. (Newly qualified drivers are very welcome to apply!)

Working Style: Comfortable with lone working and hands-on loading responsibilities.
