Support Worker - South Shields

Mencap is recruiting a Support Worker in South Shields, Tyne and Wear, near Newcastle. You will support one man with a learning disability to get out into the community and build everyday living skills – he enjoys long walks. This is a permanent, part-time role of 32 hours a week, with flexible hours based on your availability. Being a driver is preferred.

Pay stated by the employer: £24,785 per year pro rata, plus £63.70 for each sleep-in. Benefits stated: 24 days' annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata), a pension, holiday buying and ongoing training.
