Role Description
Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and skilled Night Nurse (RGN) on behalf of our client for Vecta House Care Home in Newport, Isle of Wight. In this vital role, you will manage and oversee the night-time clinical, physical, and psychological care of residents, making key decisions to ensure continuous, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, formulate, and maintain comprehensive care plans and risk assessments tailored to individual resident needs.
Ensure safe and accurate medication administration in strict accordance with NMC and Royal Pharmaceutical Society guidelines.
Make critical clinical decisions overnight to foster a secure, dignified, and supportive care environment.
Requirements
Active NMC Registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
Strong knowledge of contemporary clinical practices, risk assessments, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., DoLS/MCA).
Compassionate, person-centred mindset with proven clinical judgment and communication skills.
