Location: Basepoint Business Centre, Andersons Road, Southampton, SO14 5FE
Salary: £27,000 to £33,000 per annum (pro rata, depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent / Part-Time
Working Pattern: 22.5 hours per week (3 days a week, Monday to Saturday; rotating days weekly)

About the Role Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Diagnostic Healthcare Ltd—a trusted medical diagnostic imaging provider established in 2004—to source an experienced and dedicated CBCT Radiographer for their Southampton site. Working with Cavendish Imaging, you will be responsible for conducting unsupervised Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scanning sessions, exercising professional autonomy, and maintaining exceptional standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Perform a diverse range of CBCT scans in compliance with company, local, regional, and national guidelines.
Exercise personal and professional autonomy to make critical clinical judgments using your expertise.
Greet patients warmly, explain scanning procedures clearly, and ensure patient dignity, safety, and confidentiality at all times.
Manage end-of-day reporting, upload diagnostic images to PACS, and support routine scanner maintenance and inventory checks.
Coordinate effectively with clinic and hospital teams, address service queries, and assist in training other radiographers.
Adhere strictly to health and safety policies, infection control standards, and incident management procedures.
Person Specification & Requirements
Essential Qualifications: Either an HCPC-registered Radiographer OR a GDC-registered Dental Nurse holding a recognized radiography certificate, alongside current UK professional registration.
Core Skills & Knowledge: Proficiency in radiographic techniques, familiarity with scanning contra-indications, and a strong grasp of patient care and CPD requirements.
Personal Attributes: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, meticulous attention to detail, and a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Criteria: Full UK driving licence and immediate life support (ILS) training.
Compliance: Subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
