Job Overview
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is looking for an experienced and passionate Support Worker to join our unique supported living service in Waterlooville.

We are looking for enthusiastic, resilient, and person-centred professionals with previous experience supporting people with brain injuries, non-verbal communication needs, and behaviours that may challenge. You will empower individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and complex care requirements to live fulfilling and independent lives within their own homes and local community.

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

What You Will Do
Encouraging: Help people play active roles in their communities to promote independence
Supporting: Assist with daily living activities, including social activities, personal care, routines, meal planning, and budgeting
Communicating & Engaging: Communicate effectively using people’s chosen methods and motivate them to enhance their quality of life
Specialising: Support individuals who may need positive behavioural support approaches
Recording & Teamwork: Keep accurate records, report changes in health or circumstances to management, and work well both independently and as part of a dedicated team
What We Are Looking For
Previous experience supporting people with brain injuries, non-verbal communication needs, and behaviours that may challenge
Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs
A proactive, resilient, and person-centred approach with excellent communication skills
Minimum 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available)
