Senior Care Assistant (Day)

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Manor Park for a Senior Care Assistant (Day) to join their team in Castleford, UK.

In this role, you will take on a pivotal leadership position within the care team, supporting the physical, psychological, and social wellbeing of residents during day shifts. You will act as a role model, guiding care team members while ensuring that every resident receives individualised care delivered with compassion and respect.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead shift duties and assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and mealtime support.

• Supervise care team staff to ensure care plans are implemented effectively and standards remain high.

• Maintain clear written communication and foster positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care with previous experience working as a Senior Care Assistant in a care home setting.

• Willingness to complete Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification upon appointment if not already held.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with eligibility to work in the UK.
