Are you an experienced planning professional looking for a high-impact role on a major infrastructure project? Partnering with Kier, Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to connect talented candidates with a permanent Planner (Assurance) position for the M6 Lune Gorge project based in Tebay, Cumbria. Play a pivotal role providing detailed planning assurance, developing robust schedules, and supporting the successful execution of complex construction works within a dynamic, supportive environment.
Schedule Development: Develop and maintain detailed weekly and medium-term project schedules aligned with key milestones and delivery objectives using Primavera P6 and Aphex.
Planning Assurance & Buildability: Apply specialist structures knowledge to review and challenge buildability, sequencing, and programme logic for bridges and civil engineering activities.
Collaboration & Forecasting: Work closely with Operational and Commercial teams to align programme forecasts, gather accurate progress data, and support reliable forecasting within an NEC4 contract environment.
Risk Management: Support programme assurance reviews and the QSRA process, identifying schedule risks and opportunities while recommending practical mitigation measures.
Major Project Experience: Proven planning experience on major highways, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects, ideally within an NEC4 contract environment.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of structures construction, construction sequencing, temporary works, and design interfaces.
Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Aphex and high proficiency in Primavera P6 for creating, managing, and analyzing complex critical path programmes.
Communication Skills: Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, capable of providing clear, evidence-based recommendations across multidisciplinary teams.
