About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is looking for reliable and enthusiastic Site Services Operatives to join our team supporting Greggs at their Penrith site.
In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining high standards of hygiene across the manufacturing and distribution center, ensuring products are made in a safe, clean, and compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities
Execute daily hygiene operations across the facility in line with food safety and health standards.
Maintain tray washing systems, waste disposal, recycling areas, and laundry.
Deep clean and maintain internal areas (including the site canteen) and external grounds.
Handle cleaning chemicals and specialized equipment safely following strict processes.
Work comfortably across varied conditions, including chilled, frozen, and dusty environments.
Shift Details & Hours
Hours: 39 hours per week
Typical Shift Pattern:
Monday – Thursday: ~8:00 PM to 4:00 AM (Nightshift)
Friday: ~6:00 PM to 1:00 AM (Backshift)
Contract Duration: Temporary position running until June 2027.
What We Are Looking For
Previous experience in a busy factory, warehouse, or hygiene role is preferred.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
Physical capability to handle standing for long periods, manual lifting, carrying, and active cleaning.
Strong reliability and commitment to working night and backshifts.
