Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with the Fleet Compliance Department at Shearbridge Depot to recruit a permanent Fuel, Hire & Compliance Officer.
In this integral role, you will provide comprehensive support to operational management and the Fleet Compliance team across eight Fleet & Transport Service Departments, ensuring critical operational continuity, legislative compliance, and service delivery.
As a Fuel, Hire & Compliance Officer, you will manage a diverse range of administrative, financial, and compliance duties, including:
Compliance & Reporting: Creating reports to ensure legislative compliance (such as driver hours downloads, Service/MOT date tracking), writing bespoke data analysis reports, and producing whole-life vehicle costs to influence future purchasing decisions.
Workshop & Payroll Support: Accurately processing fleet workshop job sheets, maintaining daily staff attendance records, and processing payroll information (including overtime and additional payments).
Financial Administration: Managing internal and external charging, invoicing, and creating spreadsheets for cost tracking.
ICT & Operational Support: Acting as the main ICT point of contact for eight Fleet & Transport Service Departments, carrying out internal audits, monitoring procedures, and providing cover for colleagues when required.
We are looking for an adaptable, enthusiastic, and highly organized individual who possesses:
Experience working in a fleet, vehicle, or transport-related environment.
Proven experience processing job sheets and payroll information.
High computer literacy with the ability to implement, maintain, and manage manual and computerized information systems.
Strong numerical, literacy, and written communication skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
The ability to work under pressure, manage your own time, and meet strict deadlines.
A valid UK driving licence.
