Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Bupa for an experienced Chef Manager to join their care home team in Reading, UK. The successful candidate will oversee kitchen operations, ensure exceptional food quality and safety standards, and create enjoyable dining experiences tailored to residents' individual needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the kitchen team while delivering fresh, nutritious meals for residents.

• Plan varied menus that meet dietary requirements and maintain high food safety and hygiene standards.

• Manage kitchen stock, budgets and supplier relationships to ensure efficient daily operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a fresh food kitchen with leadership responsibilities.

• Food hygiene qualifications with a strong understanding of HACCP and COSHH.

• Excellent organisational, menu planning and team management skills.
