Salary: £14.89 - £18.35 per hour (Depending on experience)

We are partnering with Trowbridge Oaks (part of Bupa) to find a talented and compassionate Chef Manager for a flexible bank role. In this highly rewarding position, you will lead a dedicated kitchen team to create nutritious, mouth-watering menus that bring joy and comfort to residents, all while working shifts that perfectly suit your personal schedule.
What You’ll Be Doing
Designing and cooking varied, highly nutritional menus using fresh ingredients, tailored to the specific dietary needs and personal preferences of residents.
Using your natural leadership skills to train, mentor, and inspire the kitchen team to deliver a consistently excellent dining experience.
Managing all essential kitchen administration, including budgets, stock ordering, deliveries, and strict adherence to COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
Bringing your culinary creativity to life for special events and seasonal activities, such as summer fetes, birthdays, and Christmas parties.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience working as a chef in a fresh food kitchen with a genuine passion for bringing people together through food.
Relevant and up-to-date food hygiene certificates alongside a strong understanding of kitchen compliance.
A natural, innovative leader who is open to new ideas, enjoys supporting others, and takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards.
A warm, communicative approach—someone who will cherish the little moments with residents and gladly share their love of food with the community.
