As our Restaurant Supervisor, you will balance hands-on hospitality with operational leadership. Approximately 50% of your role will involve administration and team management, while the rest sees you front-and-centre ensuring residents receive dignified, personalized attention and wonderful dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the day-to-day management of the hospitality team, providing guidance, supervision, and support to maintain high service standards.
Take accountability for creating and managing staff rotas, monitoring attendance, handling holiday requests, and arranging shift cover.
Complete administrative duties, including updating records, managing schedules, handling departmental paperwork, and supporting reporting requirements.
Assist the Hospitality Manager with operational organization and overall team performance.
Set up for business, serve in the restaurant and café, prepare trays for room service, and serve drinks at the bar as required (must be 18+).
Ensure all restaurant, café, and kitchen areas are kept clean, tidy, and compliant with high hygiene standards.
A person who cares deeply for others and is driven to make a significant impact on people's lives.
Background in customer service, with previous experience in catering, supervision, or kitchen roles (though full training is provided).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a tight-knit team and engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
High organisation, accountability, and expertise in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment.
