About the Role
As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are thrilled to partner with Morrisons to recruit a high-performing Night Manager for their Wellington store in Telford. In this crucial senior role, you will lead and empower our hard-working night team to ensure the store is fully prepped, stocked, and entirely customer-ready for the thousands of shoppers walking through the doors the very next day.
Key Responsibilities
Night Shift Leadership: Lead, motivate, and empower night-shift colleagues to operate with purpose, maintaining market-leading product availability across the store.
Team Management & Development: Take full accountability for scheduling, absence management, performance tracking, training, and identifying/developing talent within the department.
Operational Alignment: Work closely with the Store Manager and other department managers to drive high performance against store targets and resource planning.
Cross-Functional Support: Enable colleagues to build confidence and work fluidly across multiple store departments.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Proven track record of managing a team in a fast-paced environment (whether within retail, hospitality, the service industry, or travel & tourism).
Communication Skills: An exceptional communicator who excels at sharing knowledge, building stakeholder relationships, and offering flexibility.
Adaptability & Resilience: Adaptable to operational changes with the confidence to challenge effectively and actively listen to both customers and team members.
