About the Role

Align critical Data & Analytics initiatives with broader enterprise goals and drive the Data Architecture Office! As a staffing partner, Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to recruit for this vital Senior Data Architect position on behalf of BAE Systems.

Joining a new shared services D&A team from the ground up, you will define standard data architecture approaches across complex transformation projects, shape roadmaps for data layers like lakes and warehouses, and ensure seamless integration across the wider business.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise Data Models: Act as custodian of Enterprise Data Models for D&A services (including dimensional models for BI and master data models) working with the Centre of Excellence.

• Architecture Best Practices: Define what "good" looks like by creating architectural blueprints for conceptual, logical, and physical models.

• Database Optimization: Drive database development and optimization, establishing roadmaps for data systems (warehouses and lakes) and medallion architectures.

• Transformation Support: Support major enterprise transformation projects by defining re-usable artifacts to generate mature, scalable data architectures.

What We Are Looking For

• Educational Background: Degree in a STEM subject or equivalent in a relevant discipline.

• Professional Experience: Proven experience in an IT-related role with a strong background in information and data architecture development.

• Analytical Competency: Extensive experience conducting information and data analysis within large-scale business systems.

• Strategic Vision: Ability to establish data strategies, build roadmaps, and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders and engineering teams.
