Position: Bank Housekeeper
Location: Gregory House, Welby Gardens, Grantham, NG31 8BN
Pay Rate: £13.01 per hour (with higher rates of pay at weekends)
Contract Type: Bank (Flexible hours to cover annual leave and sickness)
Shift Pattern: Various available (e.g., 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
About the Role
As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are delighted to partner with this premier not-for-profit care provider to find a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper for Gregory House in Grantham.
Gregory House is a warm, 31-bed residential and day care home set in peaceful, established grounds. As our Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring that every room and living space is safe, welcoming, and comfortable for our residents, their families, and staff. You might even find some residents eager to help out with simple tasks as you go about your day!
Key Responsibilities
Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control across all rooms and living areas.
Use specialised cleaning equipment and materials to ensure a safe, hygienic environment.
Interact warmly and sensitively with residents, encouraging light participation in simple housekeeping or laundry tasks where appropriate.
Work collaboratively as part of an extended family team dedicated to resident wellbeing.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous housekeeping experience is fantastic, but if you are new to housekeeping, we provide full training to help you start your career!
Attributes: A caring, sensitive approach to working in an elderly care setting, pride in your work, excellent communication skills, and a strong team spirit.
