Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit a passionate, skilled, and dedicated permanent Programmes Facilitator to join their team at HMP Exeter.
In this vital custodial role, you will deliver engaging, evidence-based psychosocial group interventions—including the Atlas Programme and other structured groupwork. By creating safe, inclusive environments that encourage reflection, challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, and support meaningful behaviour change, you will empower service users to build resilience, improve wellbeing, and successfully reintegrate into the community.
Group Facilitation: Deliver engaging and evidence-based psychosocial group interventions, including the Atlas Programme and structured groupwork.
Assessments & 1-to-1 Support: Conduct assessments to determine suitability for interventions and provide motivational 1-to-1 support to enhance engagement in recovery.
Behaviour Change & Harm Reduction: Encourage active participation, challenge thinking patterns, and support reduced harm and improved wellbeing.
Collaborative Working: Work closely alongside prison staff, healthcare professionals, and partner agencies to support successful community reintegration.
Experience & Knowledge: Experience delivering or supporting group-based psychosocial interventions, alongside a strong understanding of recovery principles and behaviour change.
Core Competencies: Ability to create safe, inclusive, and engaging group environments with excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Professional Commitment: Commitment to person-centred care, safeguarding, confidentiality, and information governance.
Requirements: Supportive team player. Must hold the legal Right to Work in the UK (note: this role is based fully within HMP Exeter and is subject to an enhanced DBS check).
