At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we understand that a clean, safe, and beautifully kept home is key to the health, dignity, and happiness of our residents. We are proud to partner with Maria Mallaband Care Group, one of the UK’s leading independent care providers, to recruit a motivated and warm-hearted Bank Domestic Assistant for the high-quality Allingham House in Timperley.
This bank position offers the perfect blend of career flexibility and purpose. General Housekeeping: Ensure Allingham House's furniture, fixtures, fittings, floors, walls, and ceilings are kept exceptionally clean and safe.
Bedroom & Communal Maintenance: Thoroughly deep-clean resident bedrooms on a scheduled rota basis, while keeping communal lounges, dining spaces, and hallways sparkling daily.
Sanitation & Hygiene: Clean, disinfect, and restock all bathrooms, en-suites, and communal toilets daily.
Safe Waste Management: Safely empty general wastebaskets and clinical (yellow/black) bins daily, following strict disposal protocols.
COSHH Compliance: Ensure all cleaning chemicals are used and stored safely in complete alignment with COSHH regulations.
Additional Duties: Clean internal windows monthly, clean carpets as needed, and keep paper products and soap dispensers fully stocked.
We are looking for a reliable, hard-working individual who brings positive energy and attention to detail to Allingham House.
Attributes:
A genuine interest in working in a social care environment with older people.
A warm, compassionate, and friendly manner.
A strong team-player attitude, with the physical stamina to handle active domestic work.
Skills:
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact warmly with residents and staff.
Excellent time-management skills to prioritize cleaning tasks effectively.
Knowledge & Safety:
A basic understanding of (or willingness to learn about) the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and hygiene standards.
A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (fully funded by the employer).
