Position: Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Energy Recovery)
Location: Severnside Energy Recovery Centre, Avonmouth, Bristol
Salary: £45,808 per annum + £3,000 call-out allowance + up to 10% annual bonus
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 07:45 – 15:45)

We are proud to partner with our client as a supportive staffing agency to recruit a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician for their Severnside Energy Recovery Centre in Avonmouth. Key Responsibilities
Mechanical Maintenance: Deliver both planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across all plant equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Documentation & Systems: Record all work accurately using the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and update documentation following plant modifications.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively within a multi-skilled team, supporting colleagues across disciplines, maintaining excellent site housekeeping, and assisting other sites when required.
Call-Out Rota: Participate in a paid 24-hour call-out rota and attend ongoing training to develop your technical skills.

What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: A completed engineering apprenticeship with City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3, plus a relevant health and safety qualification (such as IOSH).
Experience & Skills: Proven maintenance engineering background within a process, steam-raising, or heavy engineering environment. Experience with permit-to-work systems, welding and burning, and a basic appreciation of electrical systems is required. (MCERTS monitoring experience is desirable).
