Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with West Yorkshire Pension Fund (WYPF) and Bradford Council to recruit an organised, forward-thinking, and enthusiastic Communications Assistant.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys creating engaging content, working across digital platforms, and helping to promote the organisation's work to a wide range of audiences. You will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with senior leaders, pitch new ideas, and deliver innovative campaigns while working closely with our customer panels and digital channels.
As Communications Assistant, you will combine creative content creation with a hands-on, detailed approach to delivery. Key responsibilities include:
Content Creation: Creating engaging content for social media, websites, newsletters, and other internal/external communication channels.
Campaign Support: Supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of communications, campaigns, events, and statutory documents.
Website Management: Updating and maintaining website content using a content management system (CMS).
Drafting & Editing: Drafting press releases, news stories, statutory communications, and internal updates with strong proofreading and attention to detail.
Insights & Reporting: Collecting and reporting on communications performance and web insights using analytics and reporting tools.
Brand Consistency: Ensuring all communications are accurate, accessible, and aligned with brand guidelines.
We are looking for a confident, detail-oriented communicator who brings:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong proofreading abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
Confidence working across both modern digital media and traditional design.
Good organisational and time-management skills to handle seasonal peaks and deadlines.
A proactive, enthusiastic mindset with a passion for creative storytelling and audience engagement.
