Are you an experienced site leader ready to make an impact on a major infrastructure project? Partnering with Kier Transportation, Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to connect skilled and dedicated professionals with a permanent General Foreman position on the A66 project in Penrith. Working closely with the Works Manager, you will take responsibility for the efficient management of site resources, labour teams, and subcontractors, ensuring the safe and successful delivery of complex structures.
Team & Subcontractor Supervision: Supervise direct site labour and subcontractors, ensuring all personnel are correctly qualified and working safely.
Safety Management: Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks, maintain SHE registers, and contribute actively to safety plans.
Planning & Procurement: Plan and produce construction programmes, and order necessary plant, materials, and equipment.
Quality & Liaison: Check specifications and drawings against completed works while liaising closely with client representatives.
Workload & Records: Manage team workloads effectively, identify training needs, and maintain accurate site records and diaries.
Required Certifications: Hold a CSCS Gold Card, SMSTS certification, and a valid First Aid qualification.
Technical Experience: Proven hands-on experience delivering civil engineering, bridge, reinforced concrete, and formwork projects.
Leadership & Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage site teams effectively and build positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
H&S and Commercial Awareness: Thorough understanding of Health & Safety, Temporary Works requirements, and strong commercial awareness.
