Position: Care Assistant (Nights)
Location: The Priory Care Home, 1 Shelly Crescent, Solihull, B90 4XA
Salary: £12.75 - £13.75 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Contract Type: Permanent | Full-Time (33 hours per week)
Shift Pattern: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM (Monday to Sunday flexibility required)

The Role
As a Care Assistant on the night shift, you will be at the heart of delivering person-centred care that supports independence, dignity, and choice. You will ensure our residents feel safe, secure, and well-cared for through the night, helping them live a life they truly love in a warm, family-like environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements, from companionship to personal care through the night.
Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care, documenting and reporting any changes in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Support residents' nighttime and early morning nutrition and hydration needs according to their care plans.
Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through calm, reassuring interactions.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date care plans in line with regulatory standards.
What We Are Looking For
High motivation, positivity, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
Desirable: Previous experience working within a care home environment or a relevant Health and Social Care qualification.
Flexibility to work shifts across Monday to Sunday.
