Key Responsibilities

• Support registered nurses by conducting clinical observations, recording vital signs, and documenting patient data accurately.

• Reassure young patients and parents through engaging interaction and supportive distraction techniques during procedures.

• Assist with essential unit operations including bed preparation, hygiene tasks, and general healthcare maintenance.

Requirements

• Previous professional experience providing care or support to children and young people in a clinical setting.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a compassionate, reassuring demeanor.

• Strong team-working abilities with the capacity to follow instructions, take guidance, and act on initiative.
