About the Role
Looking for a convenient mid-shift pattern that gives you three days off a week? Through Bridge Staffing Agency, we are recruiting a Warehouse Operative (Mids) for Bidfood's Reading RDC. Working across ambient, chilled, and frozen environments, you will pick customer orders using scanning technology, handle stock safely, and ensure products are ready for timely dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
Order Picking: Pick customer orders accurately using scanning technology (wearing an armset).
Loading & Storing: Organize, arrange, and load products correctly and safely.
Equipment & Reach Truck Operation: Move stock using pump trucks, power pallet trucks, and forklifts. Note: Reach Truck experience is essential.
Teamwork: Support colleagues to keep the warehouse environment running efficiently.
What We Are Looking For
Essential: Valid Reach Truck experience is required.
Work Ethic: A positive attitude, great attention to detail, and a strong commitment to service.
Physical Fitness: A good level of fitness for an active, hands-on role with regular movement and manual handling.
Experience: Previous multi-temperature or warehouse experience is a bonus, though full safety and equipment training is provided.
