About the Role
Shape the future of Royal Air Force capabilities by developing system definitions for the future support solution of the ECRS-equipped Typhoon aircraft! As a staffing partner, Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to recruit for this vital Senior Systems Engineer position on behalf of BAE Systems.
Operating within the ECRS Mk2 Radar Ground Support Solution team at Warton, you will be responsible for leading requirement derivation, stakeholder workshops, interface modelling, and engineering lifecycle management across advanced mission data capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Management: Lead requirement derivation, modelling, and reviews for capabilities within the support solution, utilizing tools such as DOORS.
Interface Control: Model service interfaces and generate Interface Control Documentation (ICDs) across support solution capabilities.
Lifecycle Reviews: Lead Engineering Lifecycle Management (LCM) design and phase reviews while managing deliverables against a baselined schedule.
Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with internal/external stakeholders and collaborate closely with Typhoon Radar and Avionics teams.
What We Are Looking For
Educational Background: Degree or equivalent experience in a STEM-related discipline.
Systems Engineering Experience: Demonstrated systems engineering background across a full engineering lifecycle / LCM.
Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of avionics and radar support systems.
Tool Proficiency: Practical experience using requirements management tools such as DOORS.
