Clinical Deputy Manager – Full Time
Location: Havelock Court Care Home, 6 Wynne Rd, London SW9 0BB
Salary: Up to £63,000 per annum (depending on experience) + £2,000 Welcome Bonus*
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend/night visits as required)
About the Role
As a Clinical Deputy Manager working through our supportive bridge staffing agency at Havelock Court, you will take on a pivotal leadership role partnering with another clinical deputy manager. In this position, you will oversee and assist with all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home, ensuring our residents experience the highest standards of person-centred support, independence, and dignity.
This role offers a fantastic platform to lead, mentor, and shape a dedicated clinical team while raising the home's profile within the local community.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Oversight: Oversee and assist with all aspects of nursing care, ensuring precise record-keeping, medication management, and individualised care plans.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Provide day-to-day clinical guidance, lead and mentor the care team, and effectively prioritize workflows and workloads.
Operational Management: Maintain optimal staffing levels through efficient rota management and ensure safe, compliant daily running of the home.
Community & Partner Relations: Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and local healthcare partners to foster a true sense of community and raise the home's local profile.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a commitment to the NMC Codes of Conduct and professional growth.
Strong up-to-date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control, and care planning.
Natural leadership abilities with a proven talent for delegation, motivation, and promoting excellent customer service.
Excellent communication, time management, and relationship-building skills.
