Hours: Full-time agency placement (typically 8–12 hour waking night shifts, with consistent set rota patterns, optional overtime, and potential rolling 3-on, 3-off shift options)

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to support specialized home-care placements, partnering to find exceptional senior care providers for paediatric clients. We are growing our specialist paediatric team across Kent and are looking for compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Senior Support Workers to support children and young people with complex healthcare needs in the comfort of their own homes.
This is a fantastic opportunity to provide dedicated one-to-one care, building meaningful, trusting relationships with both the child and their family while working alongside an experienced clinical team.
Paediatric Waking Night Care: Deliver high-quality, person-centred one-to-one specialist care during waking night shifts, ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of children and young people.
Specialist Clinical Support: Confidently manage complex clinical needs within a community setting, including tracheostomy care (with suctioning), PEG and/or Mickey Button feeding, and medication administration.
Care Plan Adherence & Observation: Closely monitor and observe clients, following nurse manager-written care plans precisely while maintaining thorough, meticulous documentation.
Family Advocacy: Act as a reliable advocate for the child, always working in their best interests and showing utmost dignity and respect.
To excel in this specialized paediatric agency placement, you will need:
Previous practical experience supporting children or young people with complex healthcare needs.
Demonstrated competence or familiarity with clinical interventions such as tracheostomies, suctioning, and enteral (PEG/Mickey Button) feeding.
A caring, professional, fun, and engaging approach to community-based care.
