Position: HGV Class 2 Driver (Commercial & Industrial Waste)
Location: Unit D12, Red Scar Industrial Estate, Red Scar Business Park, Longridge Rd, Ribbleton, Preston, PR2 5NQ
Salary: £35,032.71 per annum (£14.92 per hour)
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-time, 45 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 04:00 AM start)

About the Role
We are proud to partner with our client as a supportive staffing agency to recruit an enthusiastic HGV Class 2 Driver for their team in Preston. Key Responsibilities
Driving & Operation: Safely drive and operate vehicles to collect industrial and commercial waste and recycling from various customer sites.
Service Excellence: Deliver a high standard of professional customer service while working collaboratively as part of a hard-working, supportive team.
Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all customer and company health and safety rules and regulations at all times.
Working Pattern: Contracted 45 hours per week, working Monday to Friday with early starts (04:00 AM).

What We Are Looking For
Licence & Qualifications: A valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence and an in-date Driver CPC card are essential.
Experience: Previous experience in the waste industry or working with recycling vehicles and roll-on-roll-off containers is desirable, but not essential as full training (including manual handling techniques) will be provided.
Attitude & Skills: A passion for professional driving, good communication skills, a reliable work ethic, and a customer-focused attitude.
