Salary: Up to £48,000 + Overtime & Paid Travel Time (OTE £58,000) + Company Van

Role Overview

Are you an experienced electrical specialist ready to step up into a leadership role? Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with EMCOR UK to recruit a permanent Electrical Supervisor for data centres, operating in a mobile capacity around Barnsley, Yorkshire.

In this exciting hands-on and supervisory position, you will lead the project team, ensure installations meet top-tier regulatory standards, and act as a key NICEIC qualifying supervisor. Enjoy fantastic earning potential with an OTE of £58k, a company van, and comprehensive corporate benefits!

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the EMCOR UK projects team, ensuring staff members are fully competent, trained, and conducting daily briefings.

• Installation Oversight: Support Project Managers by overseeing electrical installations, ensuring Schedule of Rates (SOR) and associated drawings are strictly followed.

• Safety & RAMS: Develop robust Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and champion safe working practices, including permit-to-work systems.

• Quality & Compliance: Act as or train to become a NICEIC Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, working alongside the company manager to ensure documentation is completed and issued correctly.

• Stakeholder & Supplier Management: Maintain day-to-day contact with client representatives, attend progress meetings, and help build strong partnerships with suppliers.

What You Will Need

• Qualifications: City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 (or equivalent NVQ), C&G 2382-10 18th Edition, and C&G 2391-10 Inspection & Testing (Design & Verification C&G 2391-20 preferred or provided).

• Experience: Proven track record in managing an on-site team, commercial electrical installations, and LV distribution systems (DC/UPS system experience is advantageous).

• Skills: Excellent communication, a proactive approach to safety and compliance, and strong organizational abilities.

• Requirements: Must hold a valid UK driving license and be flexible with travel when required.
