Salary: £15,901.00 – £16,411.00 per annum (Actual Salary) + Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) & Lift Schools Benefits

Supportive Bridge Staffing is looking for a passionate, proactive, and empathetic Primary Teaching Assistant to join our client, Lift St Helen's, on a part-time temporary basis.
Working 26 hours across 4 days per week, you will play a key role in helping primary pupils (ages 3–11) engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve their goals. Working alongside classroom teachers, you will support children with a range of learning needs—including SEND—in group settings and through 1:1 interventions, creating a positive environment where every child can thrive.
Learning & SEND Support: Assist pupils to access lesson content and meet their learning goals, utilizing tailored SEND strategies.
Targeted Interventions: Lead 1:1 and small group learning activities, including early literacy/phonics support.
Fostering Independence: Help children develop independent learning habits, social skills, and self-confidence.
Classroom & Teacher Support: Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, monitor pupil progress, and manage classroom behavior positively.
Flexible Support: Adapt quickly to provide support across various key stages and areas of the school as needed.
Qualifications & Eligibility:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or currently working towards it).
GCSEs in English and Mathematics (Grade 4/C or above).
Valid UK Right to Work (Sponsorship is not available for this role).
Experience & Knowledge:
Demonstrable experience supporting children within a primary education or early years setting.
Familiarity with phonics programs (such as Read Write Inc.) and positive behavior management techniques.
Understanding of child development principles and strategies for supporting pupils with SEND.
