As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are proud to partner with this leading not-for-profit provider to find dedicated night care assistants for Goodson Lodge in Trowbridge.

Goodson Lodge is a purpose-built, modern care home situated in the historic county town of Trowbridge, offering 24-hour specialist person-centred dementia care, residential care, and respite care. Working through the night, you will provide a reassuring, comforting presence. Whether you are assisting with personal care, supporting nighttime routines, or sharing a quiet moment of comfort, your kindness and professionalism will ensure residents feel safe, secure, and valued around the clock.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respectful, person-centred personal care through the night (including washing, bathing, and toileting support).

• Maintain a safe, secure, and peaceful environment for residents while keeping wakeful watch.

• Build genuine, caring relationships and ensure residents' dignity and comfort are maintained at all times.

• Communicate effectively as part of a collaborative, supportive night team.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Open to both experienced night carers and those completely new to care who bring diverse life experience and a caring heart.

• Attributes: Great communication skills, natural empathy, and a strong commitment to enriching the lives of older adults.

• Readiness: A willingness to learn, complete comprehensive induction training, and build a rewarding career path with ongoing development.
