Head Housekeeper

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the housekeeping and laundry staff, allocating daily duties and managing department rotas and budgets.

• Maintain rigorous standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home while ensuring residents' laundry is handled with care.

• Engage directly with residents and families to understand specific needs and attend care home community meetings.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a housekeeping supervisory or leadership role, preferably within care or hospitality settings.

• Strong organizational, rota management, and budgeting skills paired with high attention to detail.
