We are acting on behalf of XL Team LTD—a trusted provider of comprehensive medical, health, and safety solutions across the UK—to recruit dynamic Event Medical Staff of varying skill levels (from First Responders / FREC3 up to Paramedics, Nurses, and Doctors) to support events across the North-East and nationwide.
Whether working as a solo first responder at small, low-risk venues or collaborating within multidisciplinary medical teams in temporary treatment centres, you will deliver vital pre-hospital care to attendees. This role offers diverse, hands-on experience in event medical services alongside opportunities for continuous professional learning.
1. Pre-Hospital Care & Response
Respond calmly, efficiently, and promptly to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical care across various events and venues.
Administer basic or advanced life support and pre-hospital care in accordance with your professional clinical scope of practice.
Assess the nature and extent of injuries or illnesses to establish and prioritize medical procedures, and complete contemporaneous patient care and evaluation forms.
2. Communication & Collaboration
Handle radio communications professionally and efficiently with strict regard to patient confidentiality and privacy.
Work cooperatively with assisting agencies, event staff, volunteers, security teams, and emergency services.
Maintain equipment, infection control standards, and participate in mandatory training and quality assurance processes.
Essential Criteria
Qualifications: Qualified applicants across multiple clinical grades, including Doctors (GMC registered), Nurses (NMC registered with acute/emergency experience), Paramedics (HCPC registered), AAP, EMT, FREC 5/4/3, First Responders (FPOS), or First Aid at Work / AED holders.
Requirements: Full UK manual driving licence held for over 12 months; customer service or public-facing experience; strong teamwork and communication skills.
Vetting: Must successfully pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (adults and children) and complete full onboarding and compliance verifications.
Desirable Criteria
Emergency Response Driving Qualification or NHS Care Certificate.
Prior experience working in an acute, emergency, or pre-hospital setting.
