Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust to recruit a highly motivated Senior Psychological Therapist (Band 8a) for their Intensive Home Treatment Team (IHTT) at the Airedale Centre for Mental Health.
In this vital leadership role, you will champion psychologically informed care, leading the development of psychological therapies within the acute crisis team. You will support individuals experiencing acute mental health crises alongside their carers, promoting trauma-informed, neuroaffirmative care and helping shape the "Care Closer to Home" agenda across Bradford and Craven.
Specialist Psychological Care: Deliver specialist, evidence-based psychological assessments, formulations, and adapted interventions while making autonomous clinical decisions.
Clinical Leadership & Governance: Provide clinical leadership, reflective practice, consultation, and supervision to multidisciplinary team members and healthcare professionals.
Service Development: Work alongside clinical managers and psychological networks to advance service development, research, and adherence to NICE guidance.
Co-Production: Strengthen co-production efforts by collaborating closely with Involvement Workers and Experts by Experience.
Qualifications:
Doctorate-level training in clinical or applied psychology accredited by the BPS (or holding a BPS Statement of Equivalence), OR
Specialist postgraduate training to Master's level or equivalent in a psychotherapeutic modality (e.g., CBT, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Systemic Therapy) with full accreditation from a recognised body (BABCP, BACP, UKCP, HCPC).
Experience: Significant post-qualification experience in mental health practice, with a strong background in delivering specialist psychological therapies to patients presenting with complex difficulties.
Skills & Knowledge: Advanced expertise in evidence-based psychological formulations, multidisciplinary teamwork, and crisis intervention frameworks.
Requirements: Appropriate UK professional registration and a commitment to maintaining the legal Right to Work in the UK.
