Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team at the Wessex Hospital in Hampshire, UK. In this role, you will be key to delivering a seamless, high-quality pharmacy service across hospital wards and departments, keeping patient safety and care at the center of everything you do.
Working on a flexible bank contract basis, you will support operations on an ad-hoc schedule to suit facility requirements and your availability, including potential Saturday shifts. You will integrate medicines into personalized patient care pathways alongside a collaborative clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a comprehensive hospital pharmacy service to wards and outpatient departments, supporting medicines management and reconciliation.
Collaborate closely with clinical teams to ensure safe, accurate, and timely medicine preparation, dispensing, and distribution.
Maintain high standards of accuracy, documentation, and compliance with hospital pharmacy policies and GPhC regulations.
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent) with active registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Society (GPhC).
Medicines Management/Reconciliation accreditation with proven hospital pharmacy experience.
Strong IT, literacy, numeracy, and communication skills (Accredited Checking Technician qualification is highly desirable).
