In this role, you will be key to providing accurate diagnostic testing and maintaining high-quality pathology services to support patient care.
Working on a flexible bank contract basis, you will perform biomedical testing and quality control procedures on an ad-hoc schedule. You will work within a modern laboratory setting, operating complex analytical equipment and collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, result interpretation, reporting, and routine quality control procedures.
Maintain accurate records of clinical specimens, analytical results, diagnostic reagents, and laboratory consumables.
Support the validation, testing, and assessment of new diagnostic equipment and laboratory procedures.
Requirements
Relevant biomedical science qualifications with active professional registration (such as HCPC).
Practical experience working in a multidisciplinary biomedical pathology laboratory.
Strong knowledge of analytical laboratory equipment and a collaborative, quality-focused mindset.
