Biomedical Scientist (Bank)

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is pleased to offer an opportunity for a skilled Biomedical Scientist to join an advanced pathology laboratory in Cheltenham, UK. In this role, you will be key to providing accurate diagnostic testing and maintaining high-quality pathology services to support patient care.

Working on a flexible bank contract basis, you will perform biomedical testing and quality control procedures on an ad-hoc schedule. You will work within a modern laboratory setting, operating complex analytical equipment and collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, result interpretation, reporting, and routine quality control procedures.

• Maintain accurate records of clinical specimens, analytical results, diagnostic reagents, and laboratory consumables.

• Support the validation, testing, and assessment of new diagnostic equipment and laboratory procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant biomedical science qualifications with active professional registration (such as HCPC).

• Practical experience working in a multidisciplinary biomedical pathology laboratory.

• Strong knowledge of analytical laboratory equipment and a collaborative, quality-focused mindset.
