Salary: £24,426 – £25,313 per annum
Contract Type: Full-Time, 39.5 hours per week (Monday: 08:30 AM – 5:00 PM; Tuesday to Friday: 08:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
Are you passionate about helping vulnerable children and young people unlock their potential through alternative educational provisions? We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the education team at Five Rivers Child Care Ltd based at Gulliver's Activity Centre in South Yorkshire.
In this exciting, child-centred role, you will work across our Rotherham and Doncaster sites supporting alternative provision. Working alongside teaching and pastoral staff, you will help pupils engage in learning, build confidence, and navigate varying educational, emotional, and behavioural needs both inside and outside the classroom.
Support the delivery of high-quality, individualized educational and activity-based learning.
Work closely with individuals and small groups of pupils to foster engagement, inclusion, and positive outcomes.
Assist teaching staff with classroom management, planning, and assessment processes.
Build strong, trusted relationships with pupils, promoting personal development and a renewed passion for learning.
Adapt flexibly to different educational settings across our Rotherham and Doncaster sites as required.
A passionate, resilient, and dedicated individual with a strong commitment to child-centred, inclusive education.
Experience supporting children and young people with diverse educational, emotional, or behavioural needs.
Flexibility and willingness to travel and work across our Rotherham and Doncaster sites.
