As an Outpatient Healthcare Assistant, you will manage diverse day-to-day clinical duties, assisting consultants and nursing staff in specialties such as Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Plastics, and Cardiology. By providing clinical support like wound care and dressing changes, you will help maintain smooth clinic workflows and an exceptional patient experience.
Assist clinicians and nurses across various outpatient procedures, including wound management and dressings.
Support the smooth daily operation of outpatient clinics while adapting flexibly to changing priorities.
Provide compassionate, individual care and reassurance to patients before, during, and after consultations.
NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
Previous clinical experience within an acute hospital or care setting.
Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, IT literacy, and a collaborative team approach.
