Role Description As a Receptionist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients arriving at the hospital, delivering compassionate customer service both in person and over the phone. You will handle administrative tasks, manage appointment schedules, and ensure all administrative workflows are handled seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors warmly, directing them to appropriate waiting areas and ensuring they feel comfortable.
Handle incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule patient appointments efficiently.
Prepare essential clinical paperwork, referral documents, and charge sheets to support department operations.
Requirements
Strong communication, IT, and keyboard skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and sympathetically.
Prior administrative or reception experience, ideally gained within a healthcare environment.
High level of empathy, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service skills.
