Location: Bidfood Glasgow
Salary: £34,893.34 per year (plus attractive training and benefits package)
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday | Shift Times: 09:15 to 19:00 (9 hours with a 45-minute break; later finishes may be required during busy periods)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role
Are you an organised, detail-oriented professional looking for an administrative and operational role with a supportive team? Through Bridge Staffing Agency, we are recruiting an experienced Transport De-Briefer to join Bidfood's transport department in Glasgow. You will play a crucial role in ensuring returning drivers receive a thorough debrief, checking documentation, managing compliance, and keeping depot operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Driver Debriefs & Paperwork: Ensure all returning drivers are fully debriefed, checking Driver Daily Reports, product return sheets, and paperwork accuracy while challenging anomalies.
Compliance & Safety: Review tachograph legislation (monthly digital downloads), conduct routine vehicle cleanliness spot checks, and ensure proper accident procedures are followed.
Stock & Temperature Control: Check and marshal temperature-sensitive goods (involving multi-temperature environment exposure) and assist with loading second-run journeys or moving pallets/cages.
Query Resolution: Proactively resolve concerns regarding incorrect, incomplete, or lost paperwork.
