About the Role
As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are thrilled to partner with Morrisons to recruit a high-performing and dynamic Café Manager for their Speke store. In this pivotal management role, you will lead and empower your team to serve hundreds of customers daily—delivering exceptional hospitality, outstanding service, and creating a warm, welcoming hub for the local community.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and inspire colleagues to work with purpose, manage scheduling and absence routines, and actively identify and develop talent within the department.
Customer Focus & Service: Listen and respond directly to customer feedback, empowering your team to always put the customer first and deliver exceptional daily service.
Operational Excellence: Ensure market-leading availability and resource planning, collaborating effectively with other in-store managers to drive high performance against key departmental targets.
Training & Compliance: Deliver comprehensive training to build team capability, confidence, and cross-functional flexibility across various departments.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous management experience in a fast-paced environment within retail, hospitality, the service industry, or travel and tourism.
Communication & Stakeholder Skills: A brilliant communicator capable of sharing knowledge and best practices while building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Adaptability: Highly adaptable to change, with the confidence to challenge effectively and respond dynamically to customer and colleague needs.
