Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Barchester Healthcare to recruit a skilled and dynamic Bank Peripatetic Nurse (RGN/RMN) based out of Sherwood Court Care Home in Preston.
Offering true schedule flexibility to cover shifts and travel across the region as needed, this is an empowering role for an ambitious nurse looking to champion high clinical standards, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and develop their career with one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.
As a Bank Peripatetic Nurse, you’ll travel across your region to deliver top-tier clinical care and leadership. Key responsibilities include:
Team Leadership: Leading multi-disciplinary teams on each shift and at every location to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.
Resident Integration & Care Planning: Overseeing new resident admissions, ensuring smooth transitions, and developing tailored care plans and detailed risk assessments.
Clinical Excellence: Driving best practices in the safe administration of medicines, regulatory compliance (NMC and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines), and mentoring team members.
We are looking for a dedicated and influential clinical leader who meets the following criteria:
Registration & Qualifications: Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) alongside a teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification.
Knowledge & Experience: Strong, up-to-date clinical knowledge with a successful track record in care planning, risk assessment, and regulatory frameworks.
Attributes: Ambitious, adaptable, excellent communication skills, and a motivational can-do approach that inspires care teams across different locations.
