We are proud to partner with our client as a supportive staffing agency to recruit a reliable Despatch Operative for their busy Hollybank site in Scropton. No prior manufacturing experience is necessary—comprehensive training is provided from day one!
Key Responsibilities
Stock & Order Management: Pick, store, document, check, and rotate fresh and frozen meat products based on daily plans.
Palletising & Loading: Quality check, wrap, and palletise products, as well as load and unload trailers safely.
Systems & Scanning: Use hand scanners to accurately log products into the system.
Manual Handling: Perform manual handling tasks, which can include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment.

What We Are Looking For
Skills: Good level of English, basic numeracy skills, and strong attention to detail.
Abilities: Experience or licenses with MHE equipment is a plus, alongside the ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
Attitude: A flexible approach to tasks and a readiness to work in a dynamic, chilled, and fast-paced environment.
Experience: Previous production or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential.
